## Description Hi Tampermonkey team, thank you for your excellent work. I woul…d like to request an official way to manage scripts programmatically: a CLI and/or local API for creating, uploading/importing, updating, and enabling/disabling userscripts. In AI-assisted workflows, scripts are iterated very frequently. Manual UI-only updates are difficult to scale and can be error-prone when managing multiple scripts. ## Requested Features - Official CLI or local API for script lifecycle operations: - list scripts - create/import scripts - update script code + metadata - enable/disable scripts - export/backup scripts - Machine-readable output (e.g. JSON) for tool integration - Strong security defaults: - explicit opt-in - local-only access by default - token/auth protection for write operations ## Why This Matters This would make Tampermonkey much more automation-friendly and future-proof for AI-era development workflows, while still keeping users in full control.
